Hi I'm Ann-marrie and I'm a therapy assistant specialising in mental health.

 

I've been working with Hand in Hand support options for just over a year now and I love being a part of such an amazing and supportive workplace/family.​

 

My passion has always been to work within the mental health and community services sector which drove me to study counselling. This comes from my own lived experiences and the supports that have made the most impact on my own journey which I'm so very proud of, and with my personal and professional experiences along the way I get to bring understanding to my role.

 

​I love working with people to focus on their individual needs working through things that arise in their world or long-term struggles that need a more focused therapeutic approach. I love learning from my clients they inspire me every day walking beside them encouraging them when working through their goals and getting to watch their sense of pride, accomplishment and growth within themselves is why I love what I do.
